What We Believe

OUR CORE VALUES

We are a community of Christ followers who strive to follow God's word, prayerfully include Him in every area of our life for both help and purpose, and we hope to demonstrate God's love which was demonstrated to us through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ God's Son.

WE ARE PEOPLE OF THE WORD, PEOPLE OF PRAYER, AND PEOPLE THAT LOVE.

PEOPLE OF THE WORD
The Bible is the best-selling book of all time, both throughout history and year-after-year today. It claims to be inspired by God and the testimonies of lives that have been changed by its precepts are numbered in the billions. We find both comfort and guidance in its pages and encourage everyone to embrace the truths of these Scriptures as timeless wisdom from Heaven. (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12)

PEOPLE OF PRAYER
The benefits of a life that is bathed in prayer goes far beyong the possibilities of answered requests. To humbly quiet your heart and mind before Almighty God, by literally inviting Him into your life, is a resource of inner healing and peace that is supernatural. Hopefully, any commitment of prayer to God in Christ, be it one minute or several, will automatically increase over time as the fruit of His love blossoms in your life. (1 John 1:9, Philippians 4:6-8)

PEOPLE THAT LOVE
Of all the commandments, Old Testament and New, Jesus teaches us all that there are none greater than loving God and loving each other. This, however, is not just a group of strict church people focussed on obedience. The teachings on love, demonstrated in the life of Jesus and articulated throughout Scripture, changes lives for the better and solves life's problems like nothing else. God's unconditional love is offered to us all with instructions to continue in His love and share it with others for our common good. (John 14:15, Mark 12:30-31)
